The BCS Games (and Heisman Pick):

The announcements of the BCS games are coming right now. Here they are:

Rose Bowl: Oregon vs. Ohio State- We have known about this one since last Thursday. At first look, my gut tells me Oregon BIG. More to come later.

Fiesta Bowl: Boise State vs. TCU- Anyone remember what happened the last time Boise State was in the Fiesta? Hmm. I think this is a bit of a cop out, BCS makes sure at least one of the NON-BCS schools has a loss.

Sugar Bowl: Cincinnati vs. Florida- I have to be honest, I thought Cincy was going to lose at least one game in conference. They have made it through, and they have to face Tebow and the Gators. Should be a fun one.

Orange Bowl: Iowa vs. Georgia Tech- Hmm, go ahead and call this one the “BCS game that Jeff will not really care too much about” Bowl. I like Georgia Tech, but Iowa has not impressed me all season.

BCS National Title Game: Texas vs. Alabama- For most of the season, 99% of fans thought that this would be a likely outcome. Texas started the season ranked high and just needed to win out. Florida or Alabama would make up the rest of the matchup. Look for another low scoring, defensive game.

Heisman Trophy Prediction:
1. Mark Ingram- just a week ago he was out, now he seems to be the favorite. First Bama player to win it.
2. Colt McCoy- favorite going into this past weekend, bad game didn’t help. Could still sneak out the win.
3. Toby Gerhart- better numbers than Ingram, not enough pub.
4. Tim Tebow- great career, just didn’t have as good of a season this year.
Darkhorse Candidate: Ndamukong Suh- single handedly almost beat Texas in the Big 12 title game.
