All AFC South Team Offense!

robert meyerDec 5, 2009

The AFC has some dangerous teams with the Texansimproving every year, the Jaguars are doing pretty good so far and are playing great do to the excellent play of Maurice Jones-Drew, and as for the Titans they are fighting and playing pretty good so far due to the excellent play of Vince Young and Chris Johnson. The Colts are the best team in the AFC south with the unbelievable play of Peyton Manning and Reggie Wayne. All these teams are great, but how good would a team be if all of these players from the AFC south played on the same team. This team would be extremely dangerous, especially on offense.

Quarterback:  Peyton Manning

Peyton Manning, IND has been the greatest quarterbacks of the decade. He has been fantastic for the Colts, and remarkably having one of the best season of his career; he has thrown for 3415yds (leads NFL), 24TDs (T-2nd in NFL), 11 Ints, and has a passer rating of 102.5. Although Matt Schaub, Vince Young and David Garraud are improving, but none of them compare to Peyton Manning. Peyton Manning has been to dominate since joining the Colts in the NFL; he has won 1 Super Bowl and won 3 MVP awards and has lead the Colts to the playoffs  in 8 of the 10 seasons ( 7 straight playoff appearances)  sine he has been with the Colts and has lead them to 12 or more wins in 6 straight seasons. He would be without question the starting quarterback for the offense of the all AFC south team.

Running Back: Chris Johnson TEN has been showing great signs of potential in the NFL. He is playing absolutely amazing this season as a sophomore; he has rushed 1396 yds, 9Tds and is averaging  6.4yds per carry. This guy is great and is on pace to rush for over 2000yds. Johnson has been so explosive this season; he started out slow in the season by only rushing for 596yds and 1 Td in his first 6 games. However Johnson has came alive in his last 5 games by rushing for 800 yds, and 7 Tds. The only other running back that comes close to being the starter for the all AFC south team is Maurice Jones-Drew. Jones-Drew is a fantastic back; he has rushed for over 1000yds and leads the NFL in  rushing TDs with 13. Jones-Drew is good, but not as good as Chris Johnson.

Wide Receivers: There are some dangerous wide receivers in the AFC south; there is Reggie Wayne and Anthony Gonzalez from Indy and Andre Johnson from Houston. Both Wayne and Johnson have over 900 receiving and are combined for 14 TDs. Anthony Gonzalez hasn't played at all this season other than the 1st game of the regular season. He went down with a knee injury in the first game of the regular season hasn't returned since. Gonzalez is still a dangerous wide receiver, in 2008 he had 664 receiving yds and 4 Tds. This receiving core could be the most elite group in the NFL.

Tight End: Dallas Clark is the best tight end in the AFC south, in 2009 Clark has 884 reciving yds and 5 Tds. Clark has been one of Manning's favorite targets this season. Clark is not only a dangerous wide receiver, but is also a good blocker as well. Clark could be considered as the best tight end in hte NFL. Clark gives the all AFC South team offense even more weapons than they already have.

Center: Jeff Saturday has been an outstanding center for the Colts in this decade. He has been in the NFL for 10 seasons. Saturday is a  tough center; he weighs 295 pounds and doesn't allow many sacks on him. He is clearly the best center in the AFC South.

Left Tackle (LT): Michael Roos TEN is a good and very experienced left tackle on the offensive line. Roos has some good experience in the NFL he has played 4 seasons in the NFL so far. He is a very physical and tough tackle as well; he weighs 315 pounds and is extremely hard to get past and sack the quarterback. He doesn't allow anybody to get past him easily.

Left Guard (LG): vince manuwai JAC is a quality left guard; he has lots of experience and is very physical; he has been in the NFL for 6 seasons and is extremely tough to out physical on the offensive line.  He is a big guy to get past; he is 6'2 and weighs 333lbs. Obviously he is a great choice for left guard for the all team AFC South offensive line.

Right Guard: Uche Nwarni JAC is the right guard that is the best in the AFC south. He is a big guy; he is 6"3, 329 lbs, but isn't the most experienced guard; he has only played 2 NFL seasons. Although he is young, he is the right guard for the all AFC South team.

Right Tackle: Ryan Diem IND is a great right tackle, his experience level is the reason he was chosen for right tackle for all AFC South team. He has played 8 seasons in the NFL, and he is also a big, strong guy; he is 6"6, 320lbs, and extremely hard to get past.

This all AFC South team offense is very dangerous and could be the best offense out of all of the divisions. This article is from the website www.the-storms.org I encourage you to visit it and leave comments. There are loads of interesting articles on the site.
