Fantasy Basketball: Week Seven Schedule

Ryan LesterDec 4, 2009

Before we get started, check out this week’s fantasy basketball round-table (click to read the article ). Now, here’s a look at the Week Seven NBA schedule.

For brevity’s sake, I’ll leave out the no-brainers.

Four Games

Chicago Bulls :  NJ, @ATL, GS, BOS

With the four-game schedule, John Salmons. Brad Miller played well on Wednesday, but don’t roll with him next week. He’s too inconsistent.

Cleveland Cavaliers :  @MEM, @HOU, POR, @OKC

Anderson Varejao has been playing better of late so you may want to use him to help with boards and blocks. J.J. Hickson is a little too inconsistent for my tastes. Jamario Moon is a sneaky utility play if you’re desperate.

Denver Nuggets :  @PHI, @CAR, @DET, PHX

Kenyon Martin and Ty Lawson could see themselves in more fantasy lineups this week.

Golden State Warriors :  @OKC, @NJ, @CHI, @DET

DENVER NUGGETS VS GOLDEN STATE WARRIORS, NBA

Corey Maggette, Anthony Morrow, and Vladimir Radmanovic all should be in lineups this week. C.J. Watson is a nice sneaky play as well.

Minnesota Timberwolves :  @TOR, NO, @LAL, @SAC

Kevin Love should return today. If he looks good, you may want to get him into your lineups. Ryan Gomes and Corey Brewer are possibilities with the four-game schedule.

New Jersey Nets :  @CHI, GS, @IND, @ATL

Nothing tricky here. Brook Lopez, Devin Harris, and Chris-Douglas Roberts are the only ones to use.

Portland Trail Blazers
:  @NY, @IND, @CLE, @MIL

Andre Miller should be used. Rudy Fernandez is a gamble because he’s been hit or miss. Martell Webster has actually been the one playing better of late.

San Antonio Spurs :  @UTA, SAC, CHA, @LAC

George Hill and Matt Bonner are possible starters.

Toronto Raptors :  MIN, @MIL, ATL, HOU

Jarrett Jack has been playing well off the bench. Marco Belinelli and DeMar DeRozan are possibilities.

Utah Jazz :  SA, @LAL, ORL, LAL

Only the obvious guys are worth using.

Three Games

Atlanta Hawks :  CHI, @TOR, NJ

Joe Johnson, Jamal Crawford, Al Horford, and Josh Smith are obvious. I’d probably leave Mike Bibby and Marvin Williams on the bench.

Boston Celtics :  MIL, @WAS, @CHI

I’d play the starting five and nobody else.

Charlotte Bobcats :  DEN, @SA, UTA

Stephen Jackson and Gerald Wallace are the only guys I’d use.

Dallas Mavericks :  PHX, @MIA, CHA

Drew Gooden is a borderline play now that Erick Dampier is back. Dampier isn’t a must-start either.

Detroit Pistons :  @PHI, DEN, GS

Use Ben Gordon, Rodney Stuckey, and Will Bynum. Make sure Charlie Villanueva (broken nose) plays before you use him.

Houston Rockets :  CLE, @PHI, @TOR

Luis Scola, Aaron Brooks, Trevor Ariza, and Carl Landry are the players I’d use.

Indiana Pacers :  POR, NJ, @WAS

Danny Granger, Dahntay Jones, and Troy Murphy are good plays. Roy Hibbert has suffered from Murphy’s return and he’d stay on my bench. Mike Dunleavy is scoring, but doing little else.

Los Angeles Lakers :  UTA, MIN, UTA

I wouldn’t use any of the bench guys that aren’t married to a Kardashian even if they played four games this week.

Memphis Grizzlies :  CLE, OKC, @MIA

I’d use Rudy Gay, O.J. Mayo, Marc Gasol, and Zach Randolph. I’d probably sit Mike Conley.

Milwaukee Bucks :  @BOS, TOR, POR

Now that Bogut is back, I’d use him along with Brandon Jennings. Hakim Warrick, Luke Ridnour, and Ersan Ilyasova can be used, but aren’t locks.

New Orleans Hornets :  SAC, @MIN, NY

David West, Emeka Okafor, and Darren Collison are the only guys I trust.

Oklahoma City Thunder :  GS, @MEM, CLE

Kevin Durant, Jeff Green, and Russell Westbrook and nobody else.

Orlando Magic :  @LAC, @UTA, @PHX

Dwight Howard, Vince Carter, and Rashard Lewis. Everyone else can stay on my bench.

Philadelphia 76ers :   DEN, DET, HOU

Andre Iguodala, Samuel Dalembert, Elton Brand (assuming he’s healthy) and Thaddeus Young. Hold off on Allen Iverson, Jrue Holiday, and Willie Green until that situation shakes out.

Phoenix Suns :  @DAL, ORL, @DEN

I’d use their starting five, but probably leave Leandro Barbosa on the bench.

Sacramento Kings :  @NO, @SA, MIN

I’d use Jason Thompson, Tyreke Evans, and Beno Udrih.

Two Games

Los Angeles Clippers :  ORL, SA

Chris Kaman, Baron Davis, and Marcus Camby are the only ones I’d use.

Miami Heat :  DAL, MEM

I’d use Dwyane Wade and Michael Beasley.

New York Knicks :  POR, @NO

I’d only use Al Harrington and David Lee. Everyone else is a little too inconsistent.

Washington Wizards :  BOS, IND

Use Antawn Jamison, Gilbert Arenas, and Caron Butler.
