In Arsene We Always And Truly Trust!!!!

There has been alot said by so called Gooners about Arsene Wenger over the past 3 games that got me thinking. How can Wenger field a team full of underachievers, whats wrong with the squad, Who will take over for Wenger during the new year. And priceless about how the Gunners crashed out of the League cup to Manchester city.

Well I will answer each one to the best of my knowledge. Firstly fielding a team full of underachievers is a bit rash of a statement mainly because who else can he field. Arsene has trusted his players and expects them to do the same for them, meaning that he will field the best team he has either in the Premier league or champions league. The League cup is a delicate situation, as we all know Wenger is buying and developing players in the academy and reserves and has promised them that their first team action will always be in the League cup where they can get further development and Arsene can rest its first team regulars.

At the moment the squad is a bit demolished meaning a few players is out long term Van Persie, Bendtner, to name a few. Eduardo to be honest hasn't showed his true talent which is pace, finishing and deadly eye for goal since Birmingham a few years back. As for Rosicky he is feeling his way back and I don't believe that he is a long way back from being one of the most gifted midfielders in world football.

Their has been numerous bright spots this season especially with the emergence of Alex song in the defensive midfield role which was occupied by Denilson the (Brazilian delight) last year. Denilson is another player who needs a few games but is rapidly showing his usual Brazilian form of late. Theo is one of my favorite players but with all the injuries it scares me to say that he might not be in the World cup squad unless Mr. Capello picks him cause of his name rather than his form.

Many will argue but I believe that Arsenal are a Few ENGLISH players short of winning a title and that remains to be their weakness, foreign players who cost less than 5 mill quid and are injury prone rather than a english player who has the mentality to pick up the team when they go behind a goal or two. Where is the fight that use to be their it went out the window Two years ago when we suffered a melt down and handed United the League.

All that is left to be said is Arsenal pick up your heads and finish the Year strong and give the fans and the manager the backing that he deserves.
