NFL Fantasy Football: Talkin' About Practice Week 13
Cedric Benson (hip) was able to practice today. He should be able to go, and put up huge numbers, against Detroit.
Bernard Scott (toe) missed practice today. With Benson healthy and L.J. showing he can still produce, it’s probably safe to cut Scott loose.
Brent Celek (thumb) was able to practice today. He should be able to play this week and begin earning that large pay increase.

Jake Delhomme (finger) will miss this weekend’s game. If you were relying on him, this week’s game doesn’t matter to you. I do have more faith in the running game and Steve Smith with Delhomme on the sidelines.
Just stating the obvious in case you got burned last week by Ben Roethlisberger or Kurt Warner, DeSean Jackson (concussion) will miss this week’s game.
Steven Jackson (back) missed practice today. He showed his toughness last week by fighting through the pain. He’ll give it a go this week as well.
Calvin Johnson (knee) was able to practice today, and he should be able to play this week, especially with the long layoff following the Thanksgiving game. Matthew Stafford (shoulder) also practiced and is expected to play.
Maurice Jones-Drew missed practice today, but expect him to be ready to face Houston.
Kurt Warner (concussion) practiced, but he’s far from a lock to play this week. Unless you have Matt Leinart or Joe Flacco (who plays Monday night), you may have to give up on starting Warner this week because of their late start.
DeAngelo Williams (ankle) missed practice today. Not only am I not worried about his status against Tampa Bay, I think he’ll be one of the highest scoring players this weekend.
His running mate Jonathan Stewart (heel) also missed practice. That has been a routine this year. I expect big things from J-Stew as well.
