Mr. McNair Take Heed, Gary Kubiak & R. Smith
I have been in football as a player and a coach for thrity (30) years. As a Player and a Coach I have studied the Psychological mind set of a Football Player whether in College or especially on the Professional level.
Mr. McNair has invested Millions of dollars to bring a winning Football Team to Houston. Fortunately for Houston Mr.McNair is a winner who wants to win, his own professional career exemplifies the winning attitude.
The biggest concern that faces Mr. McNair is a must decision whether to give Kubiak another year to complete his contract at the risk of a losing season, thus the Psychological mind set of the players who take on an attitude of a loser such as Tampa Bay whom for years could not break the tradition of The Loser, and now of the Detroit Lions who are wrestling to break the tradition of a Loser.

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
The career of a Professional football player averages four (4) to five (5) years before the human body breaks down mentally and physically. Once the human mind accepts the loser attitude the body breaks down much sooner. The game is no longer fun, there is nothing to achieve, etc..
On the other hand, when a team wins year in and year out, the human mind is happy, it has the WINNING attitude the Tradition of Winning such as Green Bay, Dallas, New England to name a few, allowing a player who has a short carrer to look forward to next Sunday's game.
I have studied the career of players and have found the player who won had a longer, more productive career than that of a player who lost. The Teams with the Tradition of Winning had fewer Injuries, less complaints not to mention higher revenue.
Mr. McNair, in short, you have a huge Investment in the Texans, I can give many examples of Teams who fired their coaches and hired a Coach who took the team to the next level. The most recent example would be the Tampa Bay Buccaneers who fired Tony Dungy (2002), hired Jon Gruden who took the team to the next level and won the Super Bowl.
a Team with Coaches who are being recycled, who were repeatedly fired, starting with Rhoades, Alex Gibbs (his resume is replete with two & three year stints, Mr. Gibbs never got along with any of his collegues where he coached) and his obnoxious son (who as well does not gain favor amongst his peers), and a defensive coordinator who has never held the reins of a Defensive Coordinator, but for the Texans General Manager who brought Frank Bush into the Texans because Mr. Bush is God Father to Mr. R. Smiths child. This does not promote growth of fresh Ideas, or Gibbs who brings his son along to Coach the Texans does not bring harmony and a challenge of fresh ideas, due to the sensitivity of the relationships.
Mr. McNair you must take control of the Texans, before you instill a TRADITION of LOSERS upon the Team, which will be very difficult to over turn. Keep in mind you have a young team, who can give the Texans a few more years of playing time once you start the cycle of winning.
Your Team has a host of good coaches, who are young hard working men who come from winning attitudes, whom I am certain any Coach you hire will in all likelyhood retain these assistants based on Intelligent contribution and (not based on Race, Color or Religion), starting with Joe Marciano, Kyle Shanahan, John Benton, Joh Holland, Bill Kollar, Frank Pollack, Robert Saleh, Matt La Fleur and Bruce Matthews.
It is time to shed your Corporation (The Texans) of the needless recycled coaches who are much too Old to bring fresh Ideas, and much too tired to implement the old.
Unfortunately, It is time. As a Corporation who loses money the Board immediately takes action to save the Company, you must save the Team before the players and front office take on a Losing Tradition.
