Barca Hot Favourites To Win 'El Clasico'
On-line bookmakers williamhill.com make Barcelona 3-4 favourites to win Sunday's match, Real Madrid are 3-1, while the draw is available at 13-5. The Catalans are also favourites to win La Liga - with the bookmakers making La Blaugrana 8-13 to retain the title.
The Catalans won the last meeting between the two giants 6-2, at the Santiago Bernabeu, but williamhill.com believes there is little chance of that score line being repeated, and they offer odds of 150-1 for Barca to win by the same score. Real Madrid, who will be looking to avenge that defeat, are 300-1 to win 6-2 at the Camp Nou.
williamhill.com have priced up 180 markets for Sunday's game, but the most intriguing out of them all is the first goal scorer market. Both sides are littered with global superstars and punters will have to decide which one of them will hit the back of the net first.
The on-line firm make Zlatan Ibrahimovic their 5-1 favourite to score the first goal. However, they have reported strong support for the World player of the year - Cristiano Ronaldo - who is 11-2 to score the first goal for Los Blancos.
williamhill.com spokesman David Hood said "The early money has come for La Blaugrana and we've also had some very optimistic Barca fans backing their side for a repeat of last season's 6-2 success." He continued "The timely return of Cristiano Ronaldo is a massive boost for Los Blancos, and there's no doubt that Madrid would have been a bigger price to win the game - if he wasn't in their squad."
