I'm officially starting the Big Lakers Fan campaign to include Los Angeles Lakers guard Shannon Brown in the Slam Dunk Contest in Dallas in 2010.

Shannon Brown has found his place in the Lakers' rotation thus he has seen more regular minutes. That also means that we're seeing more of his high-wire act on the floor. Here are some of his best so far:

I seriously think Shannon Brown is the ideal Slam Dunk contest participant because of his stature. At 6 feet, 4 inches, people will be able to appreciate more how he rises for the jam. (Unlike Dwight Howard). Brown has also shown he can throw it down with reckless abandon. (Unlike Nate Robinson).

If you also want to see Shannon Brown in the 2010 Slam Dunk Contest, then sign the online petition at http://www.petitionspot.com/petitions/shannonbrowndunk/

The world should see Shannon Brown throw it down at the 2010 NBA Slam Dunk Contest.
