Stuffed Aggies With a Side Of Cranberry

Gino RobertsNov 25, 2009

You really can't be serious when you tell me you can't pick a side in this matchup, go ahead, be brave, you can do it.  This game could not be more easy to handicap, it's sitting on a silver platter for you; juicy and delicious, something so good couldn't possibly be so easy.  I'm talking about the winner in the Thanksgiving Day masacare Thursday night, that's right, Texas vs Texas A&M.  Clearly you have not done your homework, so let me make this nice and easy for you; this way you can sit back and enjoy your turkey day dinner, put your feet up and watch the game.  With a win over A&M and Nebraska, the Longhorns clinch a BCS Championship birth, since Fla. and Bama, meet on December 5th for the SEC title game, one of these two teams will be watching who is crowned National Champion.  The Aggies have one of the worst pass defenses in the country by allowing close to 300 yards passing a game, not to mention Mcoy could thread a needle in the dark.      Now the Aggies do have a potent offense averaging close to 460 yards a game. With Jerrod Johnson calling the signals at 6'5, and 24 touchdown passes and (4) 300 yard games, the Aggies are capable of scoring. BUT,the Longhorns defense is ranked 3rd in the country.  Here's the end result the way I see it unfolding, Mcoy will have a huge game, he is well aware that every NFL team owner, scout, GM will be watching this game, not to mention all the heisman voters; this game could be the difference of a $4 million dollar signing bonus and a $10 million dollar signing bonus.  The Longhorns are as solid as a team can be, and the final outcome...
