Michigan Commit Devin Gardner Headlines Michigan State Championship Games
The Michigan High School Athletic Association football state championship games have long been a thanksgiving weekend tradition in my family.
I grew up watching games featuring Mendon, Schoolcraft, East Grand Rapids, Detroit Catholic Central, and Farmington Hills Harrison.
We went to the Pontiac Silverdome and Ford Field to watch teams like Midland Dow, Canton, and Holland Christian. The games have always been enjoyable whether witnessed in person or on television.
Fox Sports Detroit will offer a new viewing option beginning this year; FSD will offer a live stream through their website.
College football fans will have the added interest of watching a number of recruits finish their high school careers before beginning college careers at a variety of schools.
University of Michigan recruit Devin Gardner is the highest rated of the bunch, but the list below will provide more names to keep an eye on.
