Oregon Vs. Oregon State Keys to Victory

   This game will be an exciting thriller with two very different teams. It doesn't get any better than this, the Pac 10 Championship on the line. Bragging rights on the line, and the beloved Roses are all on the line.

   How can Oregon State stop the dual threat quarte back everyone is talking about? the man that causes all the coaches head sets to be thrown and stomped on the ground. This will be a good one in the hostile enviorment of Eugene, Oregon.

   Here are some of the keys to victory:

     Oregon state has to contain Jerimiah Masoli, but to an extent. You can't be worried about just one aspect of Masoli, you have to contain him, something Oregon State didn't have to do all year. Send a 2 man blitz and send your safety to the left. One of your blitzers has to cover LaMichael, one covers Jerimiah. Next, in the situation of a passing play Jerimiah will most likely throw a screen right away. since you have those safeties there it shouldn't be a problem, Jerimiah likes to throw to the left so push him to the right.

   Next, Oregon State has to be carefull of LaMichael James big play aptitude. You have to use your last line of defense at saftey to your advantage, don't shoot for his legs, that's where he takes advantage, you gotta shoot for his thighs. Dont let him get comfortable with the play, send your men and stop the run early.

   Now, what Oregon has to do; if your Oregon, you have to use your athletic defense too your advantage, a good example was the the first drive of AZ in overtime, they contained the QB and brought pressure. You have to bring the pressure on Canfield. Don't let him get into a rythym. I had the chance to watch Canfield work his magic live in the Colisseum.

     Oregon must stop the Rodgers brothers, send 2 to 3 men on either one of them, don't focus on them too much though, when you focus on one person too much is when they use there other athletic receivers to there advantage. This is how Oregon blows out every team they play.

    The game looks to be a great one, hopefully Canfield won't let Autzen get to him, you have to shut them up ASAP. Put points on the board early
