Thierry Henry : Hero Or Villian Depend's On Your Perspective

I can only begin to imagine what has been going on in Thierry Henry's Head in the last few Days but I am fairly certain it was a mixture of Elation for his Country and Sadness for his recently Assasinated Character Profile. Henry in General terms is a Pretty Decent Guy, No Bad Tackles , Not much in the way of Controversial Statements and Given the Nature of the Transfer Market Today I would have to say Fairly Loyal as well , 8 Years at Arsenal should be Proof enough for most people. However , Henry is a Superstar and as such everything he does is examined in a way in which most People if it was happening to them would seem overly Analytical. The Handball which shook the World (and Yes I am being Sarcastic)was just that - Handball in a Game of Football. Now I know some would Disagree but Henry is not a cheat nor has he Damaged the Reputation of Football , I Submit to you that People around the World will still be watching the Events in South Africa Unfold in Record Numbers Next Summer. What happend  happened and it happened in the Blink of Eye , in a Split Second and because it happened so Quickly Henry's reaction could only have been Instinctive and so it was. I for one Hope that too much is not made of this in the coming Weeks , my fear is that People lose their Perspective and make too much out too little especially in the Media where Pretty much anything goes as long as it Sells Newspapers and if You think I am being too Dramatic then consider what Mark Saggers said on TalkSport Radio directly after the Game , He said " never mind the Hand of God we've just had the Hand of Frog" . That Comment as far as I'm concered is Zenaphobic Bordering Racist and it came about all because there was no Perspective Attached to it. Henry is a Great Player and should be Celebrated as such , on the Field he has made some Mistakes but so have many others (Didier Drogba or Cristiano Ronaldo Anyone ?)I just wish People would think things through a little more , it's not the first handball we've seen and it won't be the last. So remember people Perspective is all important , for example , Soccer is the most popular sport in the world because of people like Thierry Henry , so he deserves the benefit of the doubt  Right? of course that's just my perspective but hopefully I won't be having to defend Mr Henry for rest of the Season if his apology is anything to go by he is doing a pretty good job of defending himself.
