Spartans beat in the 3rd Quarter...

The Spartan Football season didn’t exactly end up how we expected.. but, I still think the Spartans are moving forward.  The biggest piece of evidence is 3 bowl games in 3 years…



6 – 6 record is not great, and not something that we will settle for, but its not crappy either.  At least the Spartans didn’t end up like the wolverines this year.. going 1 – 7 in the Big Ten.. now that’s pitiful…

Today’s game with JoPa.. they first 30 minutes was a defensive battle..Spartans were in it..  Then after halftime, the Spartans came out and had a enormous mental break down.  Brain lock.. Brain freeze.. Brain fart.. what ever… there were four unanswered Penn State TDs in the 3rd quarter… 

For the Spartans, It was a 3rd quarter combo of the "D" leaving a receiver wide open.. and the Offense making  poor decisions,  and not being able to move the ball.  It was like the real Spartans stayed in the dressing room and Bizzaro Spartans took the field.  WTF ???

They looked OK in the first half.. then flat as a pancake in the 3rd quarter…   Every PSU drive but one in the third quarter resulted in a TD.

OK.. from the stands some good things…
Greg Jones had 15 tackles again today… 
Spartans sacked Daryll Clark 4 times… MSU was sacked only once…
The Spartan Team is young, and got good experience….
We’re still headed to a Bowl game…
