Surviving Sunday: (WWE Survivor Series Predictions.)

It's that time of year again my fellow wrestling fans. It's that time of year for spreading joy and giving thanks. The one thing i am thankful for is that Survivor-series is upon us this Sunday. With the Card at hand its only a wonder How it can all be contained in just 3 hours? 

Let me start with a match that irks me: titles are on the line champions are fighting on opposing teams and yet there is a 1 on 1 grudge match between Batista vs Rey Mysterio (i think he dropped the junior). This feud could have easily been a 5 on 5 as well and built for a bigger match up later on down the line or even teased a possible Rey vs Batista Wrestle mania grudge match (which btw i think both have close to the same amount of manias missed due to injury.)  Not that my crying is out of the way lets breakdown this match.
 Batista is angry *you don't want to deal with him when he is angry.*  He demolished Rey at the last ppv which seems like only 2 weeks ago. Basically Batista couldn't close the deal and get a 3 count on the undertaker to become champ so Batista plays ringside bully taking out his "friend". to build on this new big bully persona Batista makes Rey sign a waiver saying he wont sue if Batista injures him. This angle does two things Builds Batista as a heel using him up against one of the most Over faces in the industry, and puts Rey back in his underdog typecast sort of match, and for that i am picking Batista to win round one. You will see Rey's drive to beat the Animal and possibly see a rebuttal from Rey at the next ppv. Both men have a high probability of turning Smackdown this week into a Black and Blue Friday, however Sunday night is just not going to be Rey's Night. 

On to the First 5 on 5 match (the one i think should be first though it will possibly be the one right before the main event. ) Kofi vs Team Orton: A nice mix of veterans and Fresh young talent. This match is destined to be a Show stealer if done right. In order to keep this Kofi Orton thing in its high momentum would be to have little teases of a face off. And of course have one or the other eliminated because of outside interference from the one not eliminated. Keep in mind though since 2003 Orton has been a survivor every match his team has won. he has one loss in 6 survivor series events. that tells me he has a lot that he can teach his team about survival look for isolation and quick tags moving orton's team to victory however i do not see him being around for the v and  i see either ted or Cody winning it for the team( Cody was co survivor last year.)

Next up the Divas Do battle it is team Mickie vs team McCool. its built as a case of "needs to put the sandwich down" vs "needs to eat a sandwich" don't get me wrong both these women are beautiful as hell but i am also not the one who booked this feud in this manner. I am looking to see team Mickie rise to the occasion and win, as much as  i love team McCool poor Michelle is booked with a bunch of divas that aren't really given an opp to shine. my breakout pick for this match will be Alicia fox she is improving greatly and with good speed so i am expecting at least one credible move before she become fodder for Mickie and Melina. on another side note i would like to see this sort of booking ( Piggy James angle) turn either Beth or Natalya face. after all them two are bigger than James *just a heck of a lot more jacked.* 

next up we have the battle for mid card dominance us champion Miz leads the charge against intercontinental champion John Morrison. Jo Mo got the L for the last time these two faced off in an epic match and looking at these teams this looks like a war that could steal the spotlight from the two top billed championship matches. this match is going to build feuds for future programming with out a doubt. Shamus the Celtic destroyer has the opportunity to finally break away from the guy who beats up little guys role he inherited on raw. and Benjamin could use this match to finally close that feud with Shamus up as he was traded before the creative did anything for this. I'm looking for McIntyre Hardy Ziggler and JoMo to be in a huge 4 way IC feud soon. as well as Miz Bourne and Swaggers current Us Title feud to keep on rolling on. Maybe see Finlay vs McIntyre Ireland vs Scotland or the even better anticipated Celtic Warrior vs the Belfast Brawler. this match truly shows the endless possibilities for outcomes and face-offs in a match like this. Ill be looking for team Miz to take another win over Morrison though. 

Next I will go into match number 1 for the World Heavyweight championship it is undertaker taking on Jerishow. this is the event taker debuted at but can the inevitable tension between jerishow prove to be a good opportunity for taker. with Vickie as consultant to long i foresee the end of hell's gate coming. in fact i would like to see taker put on hells gate to like show and have Jericho pin taker for the title somehow that would be my favorite outcome of the possible ones. all three men have had some good submission moves implemented so I'm looking for another pin- tap out situation Jericho coming away new world heavyweight champion.

and last but not least the faces who run the show. You have three guys in this match two of which with a reputation of stuffing us full with disdain force feeding after force feeding after force feeding. Break the damn mold guys get the title off of cena and onto Micheal's at this point Shawn has no true feud with anyone and is the best worker in the damn ring. the potential of Shawn as champion and shutting down this evil empire of Orton-cena-tripleh that we've seen regurgitated over and over the last 2 years. a man of Shawn's caliber should get a nice lengthy title run before he hangs it up. he is the showman of showman he is Mr wrestle mania and for gods sakes he is more talented in his kip up than john and tripleh are overall. enough marking out ive spoken my piece and as a man can wish for a change i see cena retaining (it only makes sense for the 1 year Orton cant challenge if cena does not lose the strap right after that stipulation is implemented.)  with HBK in this match I'm bound to keep my eyes peeled. we have seen this match at another wwe landmark event and that match seen triple H tap out to the then StFu. So I say cena wins again against DX but who will he get the victory over this time????
