OVERALL
Washington is an undersized safety who plays with a chip on his shoulder. He possesses very good instincts with an aggressive play style. He is an active player who does a great job in deep zones, playing multiple threats. Good feet in coverage allow him to play shorter routes but can struggle carrying the deep routes due to lack of long speed.
He lacks elite top end speed, as he has had ball-carriers pull away from him in the open field. Very good tackler who drives through contact, and finds a way to get the ball-carrier on the ground. Washington may be undersized, but he has some explosiveness to him, in which he showed during his pro day. Ultimately, Washington is a smart athlete who is able to give versatility and depth to a defense. He may not wow you with his play style, but he will give you consistency.
