HEIGHT: 6' ⅞"

—Good awareness in zone coverage.

—Plays man coverage well when given space to operate.

—Has above-average ball skills when playing receiver.

—Good reads and reaction to the ball in the air.

—Takes good initial angles to the ball and supports the run well.

—Above-average speed but lacks true burst and change of direction needed in coverage.

—Receivers continue to create separation out of breaks.

—Tackling is a question at times.

—66 tackles, 2 INT, 7 PBU

Hamlin is a versatile player who has been a staple for the Pitt secondary for some years now. His play has shown the ability to align deep or close to the line of scrimmage. He has the instincts to read and react to what he sees. Plays well in space but can lose some angles because of a lack of speed and agility. He also melts off too many tackles at times. Though he has some holes in his game that must be addressed, Hamlin has flashed enough and put together consistent tape to help add depth to a secondary.

GRADE: 6.6/10 (Career Backup/Rotational Player, Round 5)
