Larry Johnson, Perfect Fit For the Bengals
Larry Johnson is a Bengal. My opinion on if he should be a Bengal seems irrelevent because he is going to be a Bengal. What I do know is that Cincinnati is the best fit for him, on and off the field.
The coaching staff and front office of the Cincinnati Bengals have more experience with dealing with players that have troubled pasts then any other team. The franchise has seen their share of failures: Anyone with their mug shot in this bit of advice (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qlLRfgEFXPs&feature=related)
They have their share of success stories also... see J Jo, Slim, and Jeremi Johnson.

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
The biggest reason why the Bengals have succeeded is the common theme of adversity. Unfortunately I do not have a picture of the sign that hangs just inside of the offensive film room that says something along the lines of "not to fear adversity because overcoming it proves your worth".
I cannot think of a Bengal, player or coach, that has not had to deal with a career or life defining moment this season. From Coach Lewis on the Hot Seat after game #1, Zimmer, Carson after injury, Chad after sub par season, Benson, Henry, the entire O-Line, LC's age, Rey as a 2nd rounder, etc...
The Bengals this season have answered the adversity flawlessly. A group that overcomes together can do the things they are doing on the field while being the people they have been off the field.
Roy Williams was our guest at our 3rd Learning Is Cool Appearance yesterday. He really enjoyed all the kids and the experience. He is the type of guy people gravitate towards because of his honesty, humor, and character.
Two children asked Roy two different questions and I'll let you in on why I think he is another perfect fit for the Bengals when others said he was disgruntled and a malcontent...
1. What was your greatest accomplishment?
Roy: "Last year I was baptized and dedicated my life to Jesus Christ"
2. Do you have any idea what you will do after your playing days are over?
Roy: "I will move back to Oklahoma and run for Congress"
Both of these statements were said without hesitation and were very much a matter of fact. After spending time with him for a second time I really felt for the guy being placed on IR.
All of these reasons is why I say YES to Larry Johnson, not because I will get to wear my grand ma ma (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=thbUkBW_ftM) attire to the Browns game but because he will find a locker room full of adversity hungry guys ready to meet the next challenge.
His actions in the past are downright pathetic but fresh air does everyone a bit of good. Just don't go for a swim in the Ohio, that doesn't do anyone any good.
