Mock Database Wednesday: Clausen leads as top NFL draft pick

The NFL Mock Draft Database (NMDD) has increased to 112 total 2010 NFL mocks.  Here is your weekly NMDD Consensus Top 6 munch.   We have an impressive 62 mocks updated in November.  For the Top 6 consensus, we munched all mocks updated between 11/11/09 and 11/18/09, a total of 34 mock drafts.

There are no Consensus Choice at any Top 6 spot, only leaders.  To be declared a consensus pick by the NMDD at least 60% of the mocks must project the same player.

Here are your Consensus Leaders at the top 6 spots.

1st Pick:   QB Jimmy Clausen (ND) (18 mock drafts or 53%) –  QB Jimmy Clausen takes over the top spot after two weeks of DT Ndamukong Suh holding it.  18 of the 34 mocks now project Clausen to be the first overall pick int he 2010 NFL Draft.  This far out, it will be interesting to see how many times this flip flops.   KEY STATS:  Clausen has thrown for 3,053 yards while completing over 67% of his passes.  He has 21 TD passes and 4 interceptions.
