How Do You Rate the Arsenal Forwards' Performances So Far This Season?

Callum D'SouzaNov 17, 2009

What can be considered the strongest aspect of 2008/2009, the Arsenal forwards have continued their strong run into 2009/2010. The new formation has meant more goals, and it has also enabled there to be three up front.

Despite the departure of Emmanuel Adebayor, Arsenal still has a strong in the air forward line. Arsene Wenger has always boasted an impressive forward run since his arrival at Arsenal, and it is no different now.

How do you rate their performances thus far?

Eduardo Da Silva: 7

His season started with controversy after a diving incident, but has kept his head, and been a useful threat on the winger. Although not a huge amount of goals to brag about, the Croatian has still been heavily involved in Arsenal's recent good form.

Carlos Vela: N/A

Injuries and Wenger's selection woes have seen the promising Mexican receive very little opportunity, which is disappointing as he is a glorious talent. We may witness the youngster go out loan during January.

Sanchez Watt: N/A

The teenager has shown glimpses of a Thierry Henry like striker. Although he has only been used in the League Cup, he is still very promising, and fans are excited about the further opportunities he should receive.

Gilles Sunu: N/A

Like Watts has only been used in the League Cup, but did allow us a glimpse of what the French teenager has to offer in the future.

Nicklas Bendtner: 6.5

A few lackluster performances evened up with a few strong ones. Has scored a couple of stunning goals so far, but was recently hit with a groin injury. Will be eager to live up to the hype he is creating.

Robin van Persie: 8

The Arsenal Player of the Season last campaign has continued his impressive run of form, scoring many and assisting many.

He has established himself as a vital part of the Arsenal attack with his ability to create and open up play.

Sadly, and even more frustratingly, he was hit with an injury during an international friendly and is expected to be out for at least seven weeks.
