Trumpet Of Africa....Vuvuzella
Like the drums in Brazil, the flairs in Italy, the chants and songs in England, the beats of the Carri-bean so is the Vuvuzella to South Africa.
A unique but extremely noisy instrument made from plastic that fans blast at soccer matches across the country.
It might be too loud for many visiting teams, buts its the sound of "Mzansi".

Star-Studded World Cup Ad 🤩
In recent months the "vuvuzella" came under the spotlight as International teams visited South Africa both for the Confed Cup as well as for friendlies.
Spain was the first team to object to the horn been blown at stadium during the up coming World Cup, says they are un-able to communicate with one another on the field.
Japan also made a complaint after Saturday game at the newly built Nelson Mandela Bay Stadium, saying they cannot hear each other even if they two meters away.
But for South African players, it's become apart of the game...the noisy atmostphere is what motivates the players to push and keep the momentum.
If you watched the Confed Cup, you would have noticed how the noise increased as the home crowd had the advantage.
But the loud horns were'nt or blown at South African games, i was fortune enough to attend a couple of matches, including Brazil vs Italy and the final match in Johannesburg between Brazil and the USA.
In both those games, capacity crowds made up of both local and visiting fans blew the vuvuzellas, and the atmosphere was great.
The noise might affect you at first, but after a while its part of the atmosphere and when its gone soft you suddenly wake up wondering "where is it gone too?".
The Japanese coach made a statement saying something to the effect that If the South African team played good football, the crowd would be quite and would'nt have to make noise.
The comment is rubbish in my eyes, as the noise is made regardless whether the team is performing or not, and when they are playing well the noise only increases, like in any situation.
Nevertheless, FIFA has said on a number of occasions that the World Cup is in Africa and Africa should be represented, the vuvuzella is a representation of African football...its South African.
