Manny Pacquiao Entertains at the Post-Fight Conference

Following the highly anticipated super mega fight of Manny Pacquiao versus Miguel Cotto was a long list of post fight events that took place right after the fight Saturday night.

The press media conference was one that was maximum capacity due to the higher attendance of international media from all around the world obviously largely from Puerto Rico and the Philippines was one of the most exciting and fulfilling post fight press conferences.

Unfortunately, Miguel Cotto was obligated to go straight to the hospital in accordance to the boxing commission and was not able to attend. This is similar to the post fight conference of Pacquiao versus Hatton where Hatton as well had to go to the hospital and was also absent.

Top Rank CEO Promoter Bob Arum made very high claims that he feels Manny Pacquiao is the best fighter he has ever seen even better in comparison to Ali, Leonard, and Haggler.

Manny as he often always is was humble and thanking all of his supporters, team, and god for his achievements. He told the media that he now refers to his trainer Roach as "master."

What made this press conference different from the previous ones was that Manny appeared to seem more human with his visible battle scars and even a bandage around his right ear. However despite his painful looking wounds he was by far more humorous than usual almost doing a bit of a stand up comedy routine by promoting his concert that was taking place right after at the Mandalay Bay. He made it clear over and over again that everyone was invited but they must pay the $40 for tickets.

Of course Floyd Mayweather Jr. was the topic for the most asked question by all of the media and just as Manny evades and slips punches he avoided ever really commenting his personal thoughts on a potential future fight with the last reigning undefeated American pound for pound fighter.

He would just repeat that it is his promoter Bob Arum's job to negotiate and arrange his next fight not him.

While wearing his singer like fedora hat Manny gave in and even sang a sample of what was expected at his concert taking place right after the press conference. He sang a few lines from the hit song: Sometimes When We Touch as the press conference cheered and clapped for him.
