NBA: Fantasy Basketball Box Score Breakouts
Here’s a look at some fantasy basketball players that blew up the box score last night, but before we get started, check out this week’s NBA schedule as you prepare to set your fantasy rosters.
Drew Gooden, Dallas Mavericks
37 MIN, 11 PTS, 4-8 FG, 3-3 FT, 11 REB, 1 AST, 1 BLK, 1 TO
Gooden started for Erick Dampier, and recorded his first double-double. Gooden will start against Milwaukee today as well, so he is a decent addition for daily transaction leagues.
Rodrique Beaubois, Dallas Mavericks
19 MIN, 14 PTS, 6-6 FG, 2-2 3PM-A, 1 REB, 4 AST, 2 STL
A decent game for Beaubois, but no need to snatch him off the waiver wire.
Will Bynum, Detroit Pistons
29 MINS, 27 PTS, 11-16 FG, 4-4 FT, 1-2 3PM-A, 2 REB, 3 AST, 2 STL
Bynum continues to score in bunches while Rip Hamilton is out.
Al Thornton, Los Angeles Clippers
33 MINS, 20 PTS, 7-16 FG, 6-9 FT, 5 REB, 1 AST, 2 TO
Thornton cracked the 20-point mark for the first time this season. He’s averaging 15.7 points over his last three games. If he’s available in your league, he’s a good short-term fix.
David Andersen, Houston Rockets
25 MINS, 19 PTS, 9-14 FG, 1-3 3PM-A, 6 REB, 3 TO
Andersen easily had his best game on the season, as Chuck Hayes and Luis Scola were nearly invisible. Don’t expect this sort of outburst regularly.
