AL Wild Card 2020: Game 2 Odds, TV Info, Live Stream for Each Series
The New York Yankees looked like the World Series contender we thought they would be all season in their 12-run shellacking of the Cleveland Indians in Game 1 of the American League Wild Card Series.
The Yankees were one of three road teams to come away with Game 1 triumphs Tuesday. The Houston Astros and the Chicago White Sox did not score at the same volume, but they did benefit from strong pitching performances.
Tampa Bay was the only home team to create an advantage through Game 1, and it may have the best chance to come away from Wednesday with a series victory. Tyler Glasnow will follow Blake Snell to the mound for Game 2, and if he performs at the level he did in the regular season, the Rays could be one of the first entrants into the divisional series.

Predictions
Toronto at Tampa Bay (-143)
The Rays should feel confident they can finish off the Blue Jays on Wednesday with Glasnow on the hill. The right-hander cut down on his earned run concession in the second half of the 60-game regular season with 12 earned runs allowed over six starts.
That run began with six scoreless innings at Yankee Stadium against a depleted Yankees lineup, and he finished it with eight strikeouts in six innings versus the New York Mets.
Glasnow's largest advantage over Toronto should be his high strikeout rate. He whiffed 36 batters in September, and the Blue Jays were sat down on strikes 12 times in Game 1. Toronto also had trouble stringing together consecutive hits, as Rowdy Tellez and Cavan Biggio produced the only consecutive base knocks in the eighth inning.
If Glasnow keeps the Blue Jays off balance once again, he could go six or seven innings and then let the bullpen take over. Diego Castillo, Nick Anderson and Peter Fairbanks combined to allow four hits and a single earned run over 3.1 innings in relief of Blake Snell.
If the Rays pitchers continue to silence Toronto's bats, they could get a head start on the rest of their competition entering the California bubble. Finishing off the series Wednesday would also allow the Rays to rest their top arms and have Snell and Glasnow open Monday and Tuesday against either the Yankees or Indians.
New York Yankees (-137) at Cleveland
The Yankees are more than deserving of being the only road favorite in American League on Wednesday.
New York received production from all aspects of its lineup in what was expected to be its toughest challenge in Game 1, which sets it up for even more success in Game 2. Cleveland's Game 2 starter, Carlos Carrasco, was susceptible to allowing baserunners in the regular season.
In his first three September starts, Carrasco allowed 21 hits and walked four batters. He held Detroit to a single base knock over seven innings in his last start, but that appearance came against one of the weakest teams in the MLB. Against playoff teams, Carrasco allowed 19 of his 52 hits and gave up nine earned runs in his previous four home starts.
The Yankees were 12-6 in the second game of their regular-season series and won that matchup in their last five series. They also scored 54 runs in those contests.
After their 12-run output from Game 1, Aaron Judge, DJ LeMahieu and Co. could have another successful night at the plate.
The Yankees may have extra power in their Game 2 lineup with Gary Sanchez potentially taking over the catching duties for Kyle Higashioka. Sanchez has six home runs, 16 RBI and a .608 OPS in his playoff career.
Sanchez could use his first postseason start as a reboot to a poor season, just like Gleyber Torres did Tuesday with four hits.
