Fantasy Football Tip of the Day#7

Lee JohnsonJun 11, 2008

Have you went by some of the mainstream Fantasy Football pages and noticed how old some of their articles are? For example, one of the three featured articles listed under the Fantasy Football Columnists at ESPN’s Fantasy Football Frontpage is dated March 6th at the time we write this on June 11th. That’s no good if you want fresh fantasy info right now, is it? Leave the mainstream babble to your league mates. Let’s talk about a place that is going to have fresh content links for you. You can even get in on how worthy you think the info is by voting.

Fantasy Dope is a site that we found by them finding us on Stumble Upon (BTW, if you use Stumble upon, feel free to give Football Jabber a thumbs up). Tag line: Fantasy News, Strategy, and Predictions.

Here is the basic rundown. Content is fresh. You get to be the editor. Cool, huh? You may submit fantasy links from around the web or vote on the content submitted by others. Sort content by popular (those votes you were casting) or Breaking News (fresh stuff). For example, looking at it as this is written there are 27 articles submitted in the last hour from around the web. Of course you can sort by player or team as well. You can set up your “Fantasy Team” with up to 24 players that will help the site do some work for you. Again…Cool, huh?

Myself, I can’t wait for the season to start so I can get further into some of the features. If you participate in Fantasy Baseball, NASCAR, Hockey, or Basketball you have tools that you can be using now as well.

There are many more tools at your disposal that you should see for yourself. Check out what Fantasy Dope is all about HERE.
