A Match Made In Heaven: Lebron and D-Wade

Its known that Wade and Lebron are pretty good friends and there is talk going around that these two  might form a dynamic duo in Miami. First off if this were to happen it would be the best perimeter duo since Jordan and Pippen in the 90s, i almost think it would be better. Pippen arguably could have been a number one for another team but im unsure if he could handle the leadership responsibilities night in night out.

It would remind me alot of Jordan and pippen but a little role reversal Lebron would take on the role of Jordan and Wade would be Pippen although they both are ones in my mind. The dominance of these two would be incredible they are both two way players like Jordan and Pippen and like those two they could switch off offensive and defensive loads each night.

It was magical to see Jordan and Pippen dominate both ends of the floor in the 90s and if this were to happen it would be CRAZY!

They would wreak havoc on anyone in the NBA yes anyone including another good pairing Kobe and Artest but Kobe and Ron cant match this one. If this were to happen the magnitude of this would be like Magic and Bird playing together unstoppable forces.

I could see these two winning 6-10 titles i know it sounds crazy but these are two of the three Kings of the NBA the other be Kobe. They could just feed off of each others energy and each and every night they played it would be electric to watch.

Lebron could play point forward and D wade could move off the ball and get easy baskets 10-12 dunks a game and the same for Lebron. They could easily combine for 80 points a night and beasley,chalmers etc throw in 30 or 40 more.

I would really like seeing them on the defensive end though who do you go at Wade or Lebron and they both play positions where the opposition would have its best scorers and players sg and sf. I think they both achieved 90 blocks and 90 steals or so last year and that is great these days you dont see many two way dominant players.

People often like to compare Lebron to Kobe when in actuality he should be compared to Wade. Wade is actually a smaller version of Lebron they both are strong athletic guys who like to take big shots in the clutch. They arent necessarily the best at basketball fundamentals but the athleticism they have puts them over the top.

If this were to happen no team is constructed to defend both of these guys they have enough trouble with one. The closest would be the Lakers with Artest and Kobe but even then they would have trouble.

Albeit this is a longshot but i just thought the talk was interesting and it would be a good duo due to the fact they are good friends.

For now we sit and wait until 2010 which is looking like it may be one of the best years for basketball in a while!
