New York Knicks guard Damyean Dotson has reportedly caught the attention of multiple teams this summer as a restricted free agent.

Per Marc Berman of the New York Post, the Golden State Warriors, Milwaukee Bucks and Utah Jazz are expected to pursue Dotson.

Former New York Knicks head coach David Fizdale had high praise for Dotson's skill set and work ethic.

"He's got a great work ethic, leadership qualities and toughness,'' Fizdale told Berman. "He's extremely coachable and dedicated teammate. Totally committed to the culture with a consistently good attitude regardless of his minutes."

Dotson has been one of the Knicks' development success stories. The 25-year-old was drafted No. 44 overall out of Oregon in 2017. He split time early in his rookie season between the G League and NBA before getting regular minutes off the bench in February 2018.

Fizdale used Dotson in the starting lineup 40 times in the 73 games he played during the 2018-19 season. The Texas native had a breakout year with 10.7 points, 3.6 rebounds per game and a 36.8 three-point percentage.

Per Spotrac, Dotson has a $2.02 million qualifying offer as a restricted free agent this summer.

In 48 games this season, Dotson is averaging 6.7 points per game with a 36.2 three-point percentage on 3.4 attempts per contest.
