Penn State Football: Weekly Discussion for 6/9/08; Who is our Quarterback?

Paul SalmanSenior Analyst IJune 10, 2008

Good Afternoon all!

As the new head of the Penn State page, I would like to introduce myself as a huge Penn State Football and Penn State everything fan. I am a 2004 alum and now work in NYC in advertising.

Now let's get to the fun stuff.

Every week, I will post an article on the page with that week's topic for articles to be written. My thinking is for the next few weeks leading up to the season, we can analyze position by position and discuss who should play, who should sit, strengths, weaknesses, etc...

I'll try to read them all and at the end of the week I will post what I think is the best article to MY BLOG.  I will credit the writer on my blog, don't worry. If you object to being posted on my blog, let me know and I won't do it.

I just think it's a great way to get exposure for all of us PSU fans who want to write our opinions and for my blog as well. I can add you as a contributor to my blog if you'd like.

So let's get started. For the week of June 9, let's discuss the quarterback position.

Who should start, Clark, Devlin, or even Cianciolo if you can give valid reasons for him. Maybe you think we need a dual-headed attack like UF in 2006.

When you write, let's give pros and cons for each candidate and discuss how they would fit the team best given the wide receivers, offensive line and running game, and any other factors you are considering.

Let's give this a try and hope week one goes well.

Please headline your articles with Penn State Football 2008: 6/9/08 Discussion - Quarterbacks.
