Your Favorite and Least Favorite Player Of Each Team
bulls: john salmons is my favorite. this guy was a joke when he came into the league, but steadily improved. he's a late bloomer who is a borderline star. and yes, he is better then ben gordon. i dislike a lot of players on this team. luol deng is overpaid and overhyped. derrick rose is getting too much undeserved credit. but my least favorites has to be tyrus thomas and joakim noah. but of them have no low post moves whatsoever. the only thing they do is block shots. this is the nba people. start brad miller ahead of one of these bums.
lakers: i'm not a big kobe fan. i respect his game, but i still feel like lakers could've won a lot more rings if he didn't feud with shaq and phil jackson and ran both of them out of town. my favorite player on this squad is ron artest. he's an old-school, hard-nosed guy that you don't see in this era. i missed these sort of players from the '90s. his offensive game is underrated. there are a lot of annoying guys on this team too. luke walton is a frontrunner and overpaid bum. andrew bynum is by all account, a total asshole. lamar odom is on drugs. pau gasol pisses everybody off. but sasha vujacic is overpaid, overexposed and annoying.
rockets: the rockets are boring to watch cuz mcgrady is injured. i love t-mac and his creativity on the court. he is a joy to watch. if not for injuries, he is just as good as bryant and iverson. one guy i hate is yao ming. he plays soft, lacks swagger plus he robbed shaq at least 3 all-star starting nod just because he's chinese. i will never forgive him for this. this is one of the reasons i stopped watching all-star games.
jazz: not much to like about this team since jerry sloan is in charge. i respect their game, but not much to ga-ga about. matt harpring, whose career might be over due to injuries, is one guy i always thought could emerge as a star. it obvioiusly never happened. as for least favorite, i don't have a problem with boozer. nba is a business. teams don't show loyalty when a player struggles, so why should a player show loyalty? i really don't have a problem with anyone other than jerry sloan. maybe its salt lake city or maybe it's sloan, but everybody who plays for the jazz become very boring and unmarketable. let the player show their personalities and emotions, sloan.
suns: a lot of likeable guys on the team. steve nash is my fellow canadian, so i'll always root for him. amare is a big star. j-rich is a 2-time dunk champ and a very exciting player. but out of everybody, my favorite player is grant hill. he's the lebron james of the '90s. a small forward who does everything. rebounds, ballhandling, scoring. his inspirational comeback from major injury is storybook. my least favorite has to robin lopez. this guy couldn't even cut it in stanford, then he somehow ended up as a lottery pick just because he is brook lopez's twin. what a waste of roster space.
heat: dwyane wade. no contest. i've been following his career since he was at marquette. there are a lot of bums on this team. michael beasley is a ballhog who doesn't rebound, defend, or draw fouls. daequan cook sucks. mario chalmers was underrated coming out of the draft, but now he's vastly overrated. beasley gets the nod cuz he is the biggest bust out of the 3 and has the worst attitude.
knicks: i have always been a big fan of larry hughes. i still feel like lebron james ruined his career. james dominates the ball and clogs the lane, forcing hughes to become if he stay with the wiz, he could've been better than gilbert arenas. people i dislike include jordan hill, jared jeffries (overpaid bum), and toney douglas (if he ever cuts into hughes' playing time, i'll kill him), but the worst is chris duhon. he sucks so bad and is so overpaid. start nate robinson now.
hawks: i love mike bibby. who could forget that epic kings-lakers series that got fixed? bibby was sensational and i will always root for him. one guy i hate is marvin williams. it's clear that he is a bust yet he still cashed in. why didn't the hawks offer the same money to josh childress? he's better than marvin williams.
pistons: i always feel like chris wilcox could be the next zach randolph if he puts it together. that obviously never happened, but i still like his potential. ben wallace is another guy i like a lot. he changed the dynamic of the team. as for who i hate, simple answer: rodney stuckey. neither allen iverson nor rip hamilton killed the pistons season last year, it was joe dumars and michael curry's obsession with rodney stuckey. i fail to understand why a player can't "develop" without starting. earn your playing time. stuckey obviously will never amount to anything. thunder: i honestly don't like anybody on this team. i do think dj white deserves to consistent minutes. this guy can ball. all he needs is an opportunity. same goes for kyle weaver. least favorite? sergey ibaka and bj mullens. didn't they learn anything from petro, robert swift, and sene? stop drafting 7-foot project. they never work out.
pacers: danny granger by default. everybody else sucks. i really have a problem with roy hibbert. he always gets a pass for everything. last year nesterovic and jeff foster should've played more instead of him. brandon rush is always annoying. he can't even outplay dahntay jones, yet they got rid of jarrett jack just so he can start.
cavs: not a fan of lebron james. david stern is trying to brainwash us into thinking the whole nba revolves around him. eff that. shaquille o'neal is still the most dominant center in the nba. you can't matchup against him if you try. especially when he is inspired. one guy i dislike is anderson varejao. he is overpaid and greedy, but he always gets a pass because he's tight with james.
wizards: antawn jamison is one of the best player of the decade yet he gets no respect and recognition. i don't like fabricio oberto. he shouldn't be in the nba.
hornets: its nice to see david west shutting up his critics. he was college player of the year, but fell all the way to #18 in the draft. who do i hate? sean marks. he shouldn't be in the league. hilton armstrong is a bust. and julian wright will never be an above average player. magic: not a big dwight howard fan. my favorite player is vince carter on this team. he's definitely one of the best players of his generation. rashard lewis and jason williams are also guys i like at one time or another, so i still root for them. it is also nice to see jameer nelson making it at the pro level. my least favorite is marcin gortat because he is so overhyped and overrated.
warriors: always been a huge corey maggette fan. he is underrated. he's very efficient scorer who draws a ton of fouls. still no respect. he doesn't even get to start. other guys i like are kelenna azubuike (star potential), stephen jackson (love his all-around game), and speedy claxton (hopes he makes an impact in the nba again). the guy i hate the most is stephen curry cuz he's so overrated. why he gets to start while anthony randolph, maggette, azubuike, and morrow rot on the bench doesn't make any sense at all. monta ellis is also overrated. he's a low efficiency scorer who never draw any fouls.
t-wolves: i love ramon sessions. he's a young point guard who can run a team, but no one wanted to sign him just because he was a 2nd round pick. he's better than stuckey and derrick rose. a ryan gomes fan since he was at providence. i hate a lot of guys on this team. that's why this team sucks. why is flynn starting ahead of sessions? flynn doesnt know how to play point guard. brian cardinal is a joke. but the worst is corey brewer. why is he playing 36 minutes a game anyway? he has no business in the nba.
spurs: jefferson is one of my favorite players on this team. he can straight up ball. mcdyess is also really awesome. i like him since the '90s. roger mason's journey is also very inspiring. i dont really hate anyone on this team.
blazers: this is one of my least favorite team in the league. aside from andre miller, i don't like anyone. brandon roy probably by default. travis outlaw has potential if mcmillan let him start. who do i hate? LaMarcus Aldridge. 3 years from now, he will be on the most overpaid list. he can't rebound or defend. steve blake, greg oden, and martell webster all belong on the bench. seeing webster as a starter while gerald green is unemployed and outlaw/fernandez rot on the bench pains me.
bucks: i'm a big fan of michael redd since he first burst upon the scene as ray allen's backup. i thought redd, desmond mason, and tim thomas would be the new big 3 after ray allen, sam cassell, and glenn robinson broke up. only redd pan out in the end. i also like kurt thomas' hard-nosed style of play and i've been following hakim warrick since he was at syracuse. i hate andrew bogut and luke ridnour, 2 huge busts who are overpaid.
kings: i was going to say desmond mason, then i found out he got released. probably francisco garcia for now. i've been follow him since he was a sophomore at louisville. i hate that fatass sean may. spencer hawes, tyreke evans, and jason thompson don't look special either.
celtics: short answer. kevin garnett. nuff said. i also like ray allen and paul pierce way before they all came to the celts. also like sheed, marquis daniels, and eddie house before they came to the celts. one guy i hate on this team is rajon rondo. he is overrated and now vastly overpaid. i rather have starbury running my team than rondo.
sixers: this team has been the epitome of boring since a.i. left. i don't like or hate anyone on this team.
nets: rafer alston is my favorite player. love his playground streetball style. chris douglas-roberts proving his doubters wrong is also nice to see. bobby simmons is also a nice player. i hate yi jianlian. he's one of the worst players in the league, but he never gets taken out of the starting lineup because he's chinese, which is very unfair to his teammates. brook lopez is overhyped. courtney lee is a role player who is nothing special.
raptors: not a fan of any of the bigger names on this team. i love reggie evans rebounding prowess and jarrett jack's game. i hate bargnani. he scores a lot when he is on fire, but he gives up even more. his contract is ridiculous. turkoglu and calderon are also overrated.
mavs: not a nowitzki fan. but i love jason terry. i always have a soft spot for tim thomas. i still think he has the potential to be a star. been fans of josh howard since he was in college. who do i hate? no one on this team. i do hate them for not bringing stackhouse back.
clippers: baron davis hands down. then it's marcus camby and ricky davis. it still upsets me that camby didn't reach his full potential. same with ricky davis. i hate blake griffin. i know he hasn't play, but with the way kaman and camby are playing, they better bring him off the bench. camby deserves to start.
grizzlies: allen iverson is my all-time favorite player. they need to start him now. he's still a top 5 player if you give him the chance. who do i hate? mike conley. this guy belongs in the d-league. period. i also dislike rudy gay, who is very greedy and overrated (1.7 assist per game in his career, 3.5 free throw attempt). mayo is also an overrated ballhog who doesn't like contact.
nuggets: i have always been a chauncey billups fan even before he figured it out with the pistons. anthony has been getting so undeserved credit for the nuggets turnaround, but i still like him. i don't have a problem with anyone on this team.
bobcats: i really think flip murray could be a star if someone gave him a shot. it never happened and now he's too old. gerald wallace is an exciting player. raja bell brings a hard-nosed attitude to the table that i like. i hate raymond felton. in fact, i hate him since he was at UNC. he's so overrated. he shouldn't even be a starter. same with dj augustin. both of them suck
