Women's Soccer: World Champs Sky Blue FC Presents Winterfest 2009

Women's Professional Soccer champion Sky Blue FC announced the plans for its 2009 WinterFest. Scheduled to take place on Dec. 6 at Yurcak Field on the campus of Rutgers University in Piscataway, N.J., the two-hour event features a free coaching clinic and season ticket select-a-seat.

"We're excited to have WinterFest on tap because it means the season is right around the corner," Sky Blue FC Senior Director of Sales Mike Milich said. "WinterFest is going to be a fun day for everyone who comes out to Yurcak Field, and it will truly give fans a chance to find what they think is the best seat in the house!"

WinterFest will run from 1-3 p.m. that Sunday afternoon, and the event will be free to the public.

Members of the Sky Blue FC coaching staff will be on hand to conduct the training session for interested players, giving them the unique experience of participating in the same system as the 2009 WPS Champions.

At the conclusion of the clinic, coaches and staff of the team will participate in a special meet-and-greet session.

Along with discounted merchandise on sale, fans will also be able to personally select their season ticket seats for the 2010 season.

Sky Blue FC will no longer have general admission seating for the upcoming year, so fans are encouraged to come out to WinterFest with family and friends to ensure they get their favorite seat. Season ticket packages start as low as $99.

Just in time for the upcoming holiday season, Sky Blue FC recently announced a special holiday offer in the form of season tickets and a flex ticket package.

The holiday season ticket package starts at $99 and comes with a Sky Blue FC winter scarf and autographed team photo, both free with purchase (while supplies last).

The holiday flex package is $125 for 10 games and $50 for a four-match pack, both of which include a free gift of an autographed team photo.

To receive either package before Christmas, fans must order prior to Dec. 17, and the offer will run until Jan. 1, 2010.
