Danica Patrick: Nascar Gets Lucky By Adding a Vixen To The Soap Opera

I’m sure many of the hard core fans reading this are saying “asifyouknow is out of his mind, why is NASCAR lucky to get Danica Patrick”

Well let me tell you, just in case you missed the last 20 plus races.

Can you tell me what all those races have in common?.

If you guessed a Hendrick race car won the race or was in the top five , well, that’s a good guess, but no cigar.

The answer is “too many empty seats”, “no rear ends on the pine”, “diminishing paying customers”, well you get the point don’t you?

NASCAR has a problem, they don’t seamed to have enough personalities who are bringing the fans into the track or even worse, watching it on TV.

The chase television rating are down and that should tell the whole story my dear folks.

To think that folks aren’t even laying down on their couch with remote in hand, a beer and a slab of ribs to watch the race is just incredible.

Something needs to be done to get those folks interested.

Having NASCAR representatives bellyaching about how ESPN and now ABC are painting a negative spin on the races and it’s participants isn’t gone to get fans back to the show.

If the stock car fraternity of commentators and editorial writers are saying something about the sport that isn’t true , then NASCAR should be out on a full media blitz to rebuke it.

If they can’t , maybe it would be a good idea for teams to find racing stars in other series that can bring fans in, wherever they can find them, and yes that would include Formula 1 and Indy.

If Danica Patrick can make it to cup by 2011, it would certainly would give the series a huge boost in media attention and fan attendance.,

At worst there will be a huge surge of curious folks looking in on the broadcasts.

We can’t forget to mention the most important part of all this, advertisers love her , she has all the attributes needed to sell products.

She is beautiful and sexy and is not ashamed of it.

She is classy and well spoken.

She will look at you straight in your eyes and tell you how she feels.

God ! just talking about her makes me want to go out and buy something , I had no idea what Go daddy was but I wanted one, and when I open a web site, guess who is going to be the host?

These are hard economic times for everyone, who would of thought the biggest car manufacturer in the world, Toyota, had to drop out of the most popular racing series in the world, Formula1, because they needed to cut back expenditures.

Danica has the ability to keep both fans and advertisers interested.

Danica Patrick is a good race car driver, in time she will do a good job in NASCAR.

She is not coming to NASCAR broke or begging for a job, she has something to offer the sport.

That puts her in the situation of picking the best equipment available in NASCAR, a Hendrick powered car.

All she needs to do is hold on to that 3000 plus pound car, I think she will , she is a tough broad and please that’s not meant in a derogatory sense.

I personally can’t wait till she gets to cup, she will be my Sunday girl!
