News: Neidhart in TNA, WWE Releasing Hogan DVD, Jeff Hardy in Court

The Doctor Chris MuellerNov 4, 2009

Reports circulating the news sites have said that Jim "The Anvil" Neidhart wrestled for TNA at this weeks tapings against Jay Lethal.  Neidhart was brought into TNA to begin a storyline of Jay Lethal facing different legends in the business

My take-This sounds alot like Randy Orton's storyline when he was facing different legends.  Hopefully Lethal can do as well as Orton because this storyline made Orton a star.

WWE is reportedly still going forward with their plans to release a Hogan DVD sometime in the near future.  Reports that Hogan joined TNA put the DVD set in jeopardy but according to different websites the DVD is still going forward.  WWE also decided to continue work on Jeff Hardy's DVD after his arrest report two months ago.

My take- Hogan being in TNA would have usually stopped the WWE from doing something like this but seeing as its Hogan and the DVD is almost guaranteed to make money I can see why the WWE would still make the set.

Jeff Hardy was scheduled to appear in court today about the drug charges against him that came about in September.  Hardy has been quiet since the Arrest after his Twitter account disappeared.  Matt has said a few things about the incident on Twitter indicating that Jeff is the victim of a scam.  While this may be true we have yet to see what the courts think of all this.

My take- If Jeff Hardy was framed then I hope for his sake that the courts recognize this and do the right thing, if the drugs were indeed his then his punishment could be anywhere from fines and community service to jail time.  I hope that Jeff is innocent becasue he is one of my favorite wrestlers and he still has fans waiting for his return.
