Steph Curry: 'Weird' Seeing Mom Sonya Cheering for Him in Trail Blazers Gear

Golden State Warriors star Stephen Curry told reporters that it was "weird" watching his mother Sonya root for him in a Portland Trail Blazers jersey on Tuesday during his team's 116-94 win in Game 1 of the Western Conference Finals:

The Blazers jersey was understandable: Steph's brother Seth plays for Portland, so Sonya and Dell Curry split their allegiance following a pregame coin flip:

It's not uncommon for parents to root for their daughters or sons on opposing teams, even on the professional level.
