Blizzard Of Raw: 11/2/09

For the first Raw of November we are visited by guest Hosts Ozzy and Sharon Osbourne.

Show begins with Sharon and Ozzy. They are in the ring with a kings chair. Ozzy found Regals throne. Miz interrupts Ozzy and Sharon.

Legacy coming out to laughs by Sharon. (that can't be safe for the Osbourne brood-mother)

DX sure does have more and more merch on when they come to the ring these days.
"the Ratings killers" triple h buries raw talent in one sentence. to push merch.

Still Sad that Triple H continues to make Raw the joke it is.

Miz and Evan Bourne for the United States title. Miz starts out aggressive stomping Bourne to the mat. Evan goes for a reversal to a hip-toss Miz goes for another toss and Evan walks up the ropes to a hurricanrana. wheel kick and Miz goes to the floor. Bourne setting up for a plancha... oh wait never mind he hits his knee press to the outside on the Miz. Two count. Break dance pin, two count. Miz takes control back with a knee to the gut.. Lays Bourne across the top rope with a front suplex. Sitting abdominal stretch. Bourne fighting out Miz turns it into a pump-handle but bourne has different plans turning it into a pin. two count. the two get to their feet Miz goes for a suplex knee to the face by Bourne. Bourne spins around Miz quad muscle and pins with a spinning leg sweep pin thing. two count. Miz dodges Evan in the corner but Evan lands on second rope spinning kick to the back of Miz skull. two count. fun top rope move sets up for "Air Bourne" Miz rolls out of the way. Hip toss to the corner disorients Evan just long enough for the "SCF". Your Winner and still US Champ Miz.(i had to pause to keep up with this match. great match for both Miz and Bourne finally bourne doesn't look like he is in a one sided battle.)

The Celtic Warrior (isn't he Scottish? My sources suck. Dublin i thought they were saying Glasgow over on ecw.)  facing Jaime Noble. Poor noble is getting dismantled from the get go. he towers over noble. a lot of attacks to nobles dome. Fans have already lost interest.   Crazy fan asking "Big Red" to "Give us some more" Stretcher brought out for the decrepit leftovers of Noble.

Monday recap coming in from the break. 
Kofi takes on Orton In mere seconds. Kofi Cuts a good promo on Orton needing a mirror. good stuff with Kofi this week. So Orton Slow and methodical vs Kofi Speed and endurance. this should be a good match. Ref looks like he teaches math to 8th graders and tells stories of being on raw to the students. B*tch slaps back and forth . the viper runs kofi to the corner and is beating him to a pulp. Kofi went from credible to jobber style in the beginning . and one European uppercut puts Kofi back in the game. trips Orton over the ropes into legacy. Ozzy Interrupts and says the Madness Begins Out come MvP and Mark Henry. More commercials. 

Kofi and Dibiase in the ring at the end of break. Kofi controls the Match against all three. tags in MVP. Ballin and Boom drop. two count. Henry is in. Dibiase goes for the knee and tags in Cody. MvP going for the Drive by but Cody kicks him in the face. MvP sets up for a Suplex but Cody gets ted for a tag. In comes Orton after some chaos in legacy's corner. MVP is looking a bit worse for wear. Quick tags by legacy keeping MvP isolated. Half-nelson face-lock by Rhodes. MvP Fighting out of it only to get a Dropkick to the mouth. Orton in he is stomping MvP. Another dropkick to the mouth two count. MvP gets control-ish, and Drop toe hold. misses knee to the skull Orton looks back to the face corner and drops a knee on MvP who is now face up. MvP is in dire straits dragged back to Legacy's corner.  Henry finally tagged in the crowd looks really into this match. Kofi saves an RKO attempt and Mark Henry beats Cody Rhodes for his team. 

Ooh now it's time for the real Ratings Killer the gimmick segment Raw's Got Talent. ill be back after the commercial break. 

I love when TNA and Raw Commercials interrupt each others shows.  Comcast needs to get their heads in the game seriously.

They pull the plug on Santino. Masters really wow. "Close my ears forever." its Jillian and Chavo.  Chavo is carrying this segment. "Yeah baby sing it."  "you need to control your wife Ozzy." "You control her i can't." Kahli chop its over? Jack Swaggle wtf?

Divas Battle Royale up next. "every diva for himself"  Gail and Bella 1 in the corner Kelly stomping Alicia Bella 2 taking on eve. Melina is watching the big screen she looks mesmerised by the plasma. Gail is out Kelly responsible for it. the Bellas to the floor. eve Kelly and Alicia are left swagger is motioning to eve. Kelly is looking to toss Alicia to the outside. bear-hug to Kelly and she just dumps her to the outside.  "who wouldn't want their hands full of Alicia."(Pg rating really?)

Back to the hosts in the back with Jericho.  Raw Is Jericho complaints.
Jericho is kissing ozzy's Ass. "I am Better than you Ozzy." "I really don't think so."
DX Asks Swaggle for at least two weeks of no DX-impressions. John Cena enters scene talks about not hanging leprechauns on hooks and Shawn Hunter and John always beating each other. the Bellas look terrified and walk off. they bleep Cena even though he only mouths the f word.(pg rating guys.) Shawn is tired of everyone stealing DX's stuff.

Dx is out on commentary for Cena vs Jericho vs Show. "this is not easy out here. People yelling in your ear all the time"  Triple H says he checked Shawn's Math with the DX slide ruler on shop.com. Hahaha Triple H yelling at Cole to shut his mouth so they can go to commercial and so the talking heads in the back can shut up.  So what if Big Show wins the title at Survivor Series does he bring Smackdown's gold to Raw? Or is he officially off of Raw? Such plot-holes  boggle my mind.

We are back from break and everyone is in the ring ready to go. Cole is not getting rid of the vintage ribbing any time soon. Big Show and Jericho are beating Cena bad.  super Cena is about to make his presence known. Jericho capitalizes on a spear with a lionsault.  Show squashes Cena on an AA attempt. vaderbomb coming up?  Oh he misses. Flying shoulder sends show packing to the out side.  Super Cena on the attack with Jericho. Knock out punch to Cena when he has Jericho up for the AA. Jericho wins the triple threat. Post match attack Shawn gets the KO Punch. and Triple H gets the codebreaker. The Raw SS Main Event is laid out in the ring with the tag Champs Bragging on the Stage.

This week's show was pretty well. Not the top of the line but did pretty well aside from triple H Burying the whole roster in the top segment. I give this show a C+ a lot of mood killers in this episode but good matches and well done finishes. 

Match of the night has to be Miz and Bourne if not for any reason but i had to pause the dang tv to catch up to the action. i have not had to rewind to catch so many parts of a match  this year. Epic Battle oddly no Swagger but he seems to be focusing on Eve.
