TMZ: Meek Mill's Request to Attend 76ers vs. Raptors in Toronto Denied by Judge

Meek Mill won't be able to cheer on the Philadelphia 76ers in person when they travel to Toronto to face the Raptors in the Eastern Conference Semifinals beginning on Saturday night. 

According to TMZ Sports, Judge Genece Brinkley didn't approve the hip hop artist's request to travel to Toronto. Meek Mill has been on probation since 2008 and requires permission to leave the state of Pennsylvania.

Per that report, his probation officer approved the trip, but Brinkley did not. That didn't sit well with Sixers co-owner Michael Rubin, who had harsh words for Brinkley on Instagram:

"Judge Genece Brinkley—I know you have a vendetta against Meek Mill and are obsessed with trying to control every aspect of his life, but did you really NOT approve him to go to rep the sixers in Toronto for the game? Do you also hate PHILLY? As soon as the schedule came out, Meek asked probation for approval—they immediately approved! ... We filed with your court as soon as the schedule came out since you need to approve travel to Canada! Since you didn't respond to numerous phone calls and emails we even sent a lawyer to the courthouse today!!"

So much for getting to see Meek Mill and Drake in the arena together on Saturday night. If nothing else, that would have made for some very fun trash talk.
