Favre in Green Bay; bring out the idiots.

Like most of the Green Bay faithful, the man below chose to jeer Brett Favre when he took the field for the first time on Sunday afternoon as the Minnesota Vikings quarterback.

But this particular fan struck us as unique…

In addition to exceeding the legal limit of fake jewelry, the man above is standing, booing and proclaiming his general distaste for the once-hallowed golden boy.

But he’s doing it in a New York Jets FAVRE jersey.

He’s either:

a.) A very ironic Green Bay fan who bought a Jets FAVRE jersey when he left the Packers to prove his unconditional homage.  But now that he’s made the move to Minnesota, that’s where he draws the line.  Boooo.

b.) A die-hard Jets fan who spent way too much money traveling to Wisconsin to boo a guy that spent one year on a 9-7 team.

Our Vote:

(b.) Judging from the surroundings (read: the two goons in the back who look like they’re trying to spot elk, instead of watching a football game), the guy above doesn’t really fit into traditional Wisconsin characteristics.  That said, we’re guessing that the fan above is from New York – which we think may be worse than the Green Bay fans who are booing.
