Breaking News: Bugs Bunny to Host an Upcoming Episode of Raw (Humor)

According to some very reputable sources; namely www.looneytunes.com and www.farfetchedwrestlingrumors.com , it has been reported that Bugs Bunny will be hosting an upcoming episode of Monday Night Raw.

At first, this appears to be a questionable move by the WWE, but with other reports running rampant that Vince McMahon intends to move his long running flagship show from its Monday night time slot in favor of a more desirable Saturday morning time slot, this move makes sense.

USA is planning on airing a new kid-themed Saturday morning lineup to compete with some of the other networks.

A new Looney Tunes cartoon series has been announced and the WWE is rumored to be moving Raw to this new Saturday morning slot to better target their desired audience.

Now for those of you who don’t know, Bugs is a very accomplished athlete, having played in a variety of sporting events, including baseball, football, and track and field.

Bugs is probably best remembered for his role in the Looney Tunes upset of the Monstars in their epic basketball game 13 years ago.

I am very interested to see how the WWE plans on pulling this off, what with Bugs being a fictional, two-dimensional cartoon character.

Regardless, I have confidence that the WWE creative team will have some great material lined up for Bugs’s interactions with the Raw roster.

Perhaps a backstage segment between Bugs and Jack Swagger, where Swagger comes in and demands a title match, only to be told that he would be a great replacement as the voice actor of Sylvester the Cat.

You know there would have to be some skit involving Bugs and DX.

Maybe have the trio switch the men’s and women’s bathrooms signs, tricking Big Show into walking into the wrong one.

Think of the hilarity that would ensue when the Divas come bursting out of the bathroom while Kelly Kelly remarks that she isn’t quite sure why he is called the “Big” Show.

I would love to see a skit involving Dave Batista’s “secret stuff.”

And who wouldn’t want to hear a giddy Michael Cole yell out “That’s vintage Bugs Bunny!” after Bugs drops an anvil on the Miz and helps Hornswoggle throw cream pies at Chavo?

If the WWE plays its cards right, I honestly think that Bugs Bunny has the potential to be the best guest host Raw will have during this gimmick.

One last side note, according to www.ifyoubelievethisyouareextremelygullible.com , other rumored hosts that the WWE has lined up are Kermit the Frog, SpongeBob Squarepants, Bart Simpson, and the Mario Brothers.
