Bacary Sagna: 8— A terrific performance from the consistent French defender. He had little problems closing down the Tottenham attack and assisted for both of Van Persie's goals with two tantalizing crosses
William Gallas: 7— Relatively solid feature from the Frenchmen. He struggled at times with the height of Peter Crouch, but dealt with most of the attack that was thrown at him well.
Thomas Vermaelen: 8— Strong in the air, strong on the ground. What more do you want from the talented Belgian?
Gael Clichy: 7— Not as lively as his right-side colleague, but, all in all, a good performance. He wasn't really troubled by David Bentley and helped out in attack when needed.
Alexandre Song: 7— Made a terrific challenge to deny what could of been a certain Tottenham goal. Was strong when defending the Arsenal midfield and although wasn't all that useful, did help in attack.
Cesc Fabregas: 9— Scored a hugely impressive solo-effort goal and was superb in every aspect of the game. Every decent attack started with the captain and, really, he is one of the best in the game.
Abou Diaby: 6— Worked hard but nothing paid off. He was too clumsy and wasteful in attack, dribbling when he should be passing. HE did offer power and height though.
Nicklas Bendtner: N/A— Some what marred the Arsenal performance due to the talented Dane limping off halfway through the first half with a groin injury.
Andrei Arshavin: 6— Not as lively as he usually is and at times a bit lazy but did look threatening at times.
Robin van Persie: 8— Two goals and always a constant thorn in the Tottenham defence. He looks set to become the new talismanic striker for Arsenal.
Substitutes:
Eduardo Da Silva: 6— An up-and-down performance. He Should have been on the score sheet, but scuffed too many opportunities.
Emmanuel Eboue: 6— Fast, strong, and silky in his short spurt on the field.
Aaron Ramsey: N/A:
