Detroit Pistons star Blake Griffin is being sued after his dog allegedly attacked a man at a Los Angeles restaurant in June, according to TMZ Sports.

Per the report, Emmanuel Aframian has filed a lawsuit against Griffin seeking money to cover medical expenses and "severe emotional harm" stemming from the alleged attack.

Aframian claims the NBA star knew his "vicious" dog had a history of biting.

TMZ Sports noted Aframian is not only going after Griffin, but he also wants the restaurant, A Votre Sante, to be held responsible, with him saying the business has an obligation to protect its customers.

Griffin spent the first seven-plus years of his career with the Los Angeles Clippers. He was traded to Detroit in January 2018, just months after signing a five-year, $173 million contract with the Clippers.

The 29-year-old Griffin earned his sixth All-Star selection this season, averaging a career-high 26.2 points and 8.1 rebounds per game in 2018-19.

This is not the first time Griffin has been hit with a lawsuit in recent years. TMZ Sports reported in February 2018 Griffin's ex-fiancee, Brynn Cameron, was suing the Pistons forward for palimony. That lawsuit was reportedly settled last month.
