Batista has discussed a potential return to WWE for WrestleMania 35, according to Pro Wrestling Sheet's Ryan Satin

Satin reported the odds of the Guardians of the Galaxy actor coming back to WWE this spring are 50-50 and that he has also talked with All Elite Wrestling about possibly joining the new promotion.

Batista's last WWE match was at Payback 2014 when he teamed with Triple H and Randy Orton in a loss to The Shield. The following night on Raw, he "quit" WWE, and Seth Rollins turned on Dean Ambrose and Roman Reigns to align with The Game and The Viper.

During the SmackDown 1000 special in October, he reunited with Evolution and planted the seeds for a future match with Triple H. He mentioned that The Game was never able to beat him in a singles bout, and the two shared an uneasy hug.

If Batista did appear at WrestleMania, WWE might have to go in a different direction, though.

Triple H suffered a torn pectoral in November, and he was only cleared to train in January, with WrestleMania quickly approaching on April 7 in East Rutherford, New Jersey. He still probably has some time before he'll be ready for in-ring action again.

Batista would obviously be a huge name to add to the WrestleMania card, but holding off until SummerSlam in August might be the better approach if WWE only plans to pit him against The Game.
