ORLANDO MAGIC. Deeper Then The Marianas Trench!
No Lewis (10 game suspesion), No Jameer in the 1st half (Foul trouble), and no Carter in the 2nd half (injured in the 2nd quarter)... NO PROBLEM.
This win is for all the people who think that Turk was a better fit for the Magic then Carter, lets try some common sence shell we. Turk did a great job for us Magic fans last year and was very much appreciated, but when you have a supporting cast that includes three all-stars life is easy. Thats why Ryan Anderson is off to such a great start. Do you really think if Anderson was still on the Nets he would be averaging 16 points in his 1st two games, and have you seen Turks numbers so far this year! His +/- tonight was -20. Thinking Vince Carter is a downgrade for the Magic(or any other team for that matter) is almost as foolish as the CAV's bringing in Shaq to slow down D12 or the C's in the playoffs.
Magic fans, it's time! The only team that has a chance to beat the Magic in playoffs is Boston. And thats only if they ALL stay healthy. I don't think the Lakers have what it's going to take this year to win it all. While Kobe's getting older Howard is getting better. Kobe has proven he can win without Shaq and will not be as determined durring the regular season. This will cost them any chance of home court throughout the playoffs. Lets see, who else. Well no-one. Sorry Cavs fans, Your starting center is washed up (Just ask the Suns) and your backup center (who should still be your starter) can't slow down the Magic. Lebron won't even lie and say he wants to stay in Cleveland just to take the pressure off his team and everyone else in Ohio. The Cavs did not have the pressure of loosing Labron last year and this allowed the team to just play.
My perdictions for the elite:
MAGIC: 68-14
CELTICS: 68-14
SPURS: 55-27
CAVS (yes they are still better then most) 50-22
LAKERS: 60-22
