Needless to say, the on going stories about Lampard to Inter, Drogba to Milan, Kaka to Chelsea, Shevchenko going back to the San Siro could be the reason.

Maybe He's trying to convince Carlo Ancelotti to come to Chelsea, or trying to snap up Andrea Pirlo from Milan.

"I feel good at Milan and I'm happy to stay. A few years ago there could have been a different situation. Milan could have been relegated to Serie B and there was a possibility I would have left," revealed Pirlo when asked whether he would move to Chelsea.
