Let's Rank 'Em!: The Top 25 NFL Running Backs Entering Week Eight
Whoever said that Adrian Peterson is the NFL’s best running back right now is absolutely right! But it is a close race, Cedric Benson is stepping up his game finally, Thomas Jones is doing a great job at racking up the yards and other guys like Ronnie Brown and Chris Johnson should get an honorable mention, too. With what few carries Ricky Williams has gotten in that “wildcat” play, he’s made those carries worth it. Same goes with Ray Rice and Rashard Mendenhall, those two haven’t gotten as many carries as others but when they do, they make those carries worth it. With all of this said, here’s my latest version of the NFL’s top 25 running backs.
1. Adrian Peterson (Vikings): 138 carries, 687 yards, 8 touchdowns
