*SPOILERS FOR SMACKDOWN FRIDAY, 10/30* Creative Team Getting Better
Let's face it, the WWE Creative Team has been less than excellent in the last few months.
But, in two days, that all changed, and the Creative Team proved why they are the Creative Team of the WWE, the top wrestling company in the world.
First of all, the WWE teased at a deal between Teddy Long and Big Show, saying that if Big Show betrayed Raw at Bragging Rights, then Big Show would get a World Heavyweight Title shot, even if he's officially part of the Raw roster. This was good, because the Undertaker-CM Punk feud was getting stale, and let's face it, Batista and Undertaker is a feud we've seen much too often, and Rey Mysterio-Undertaker would be a joke.
While i would love to see Morrison get a push, it's too early for that. Morrison will get a push around Wrestlemania, in my opinion, possibly winning Money In The Bank, but no one can be sure.
So, there was one option left, and that was to bring in someone from Raw. Randy Orton would not have worked. Without Orton, Raw has no top heel, while Smackdown would have 3(Batista, Punk, and Orton) Jericho was an option for Undertaker, but myself i think that is a feud that would run stale very quickly.
Big Show was the last option that the Creative Team had, and that was the best option in my opinion. Big Show and Undertaker, while seen far too many times, will be good this time. Read on and you'll find out why.
Later in the show, The thing I have been waiting forever for happened. Kofi Kingston got a push. And this wasn't just any push, it was the biggest push i've ever seen. Possibly bigger than Punk's push earlier this year. While the push was huge, some people might say "oh, a big push can be too much, and the superstar could be put back into the mid-card level. Look at CM Punk last year."
Yeah, that may happen, but look who his rival is. It's the Legend Killer, The Viper, Randy Orton.
This push is destined for unbelievably great things, and I see this as a good feud that could go on for a long time, and then push Kofi Kingston as a top babyface in the company.
Spoilers Start Here.
Then, at the Smackdown taping, Teddy Long, after complaints from Chris Jericho, added a stipulation to the match that whoever won a match later that night between Kane and Jericho, would be added to the match between Big Show and Undertaker. Jericho won the match, so now it's the Unified WWE Tag Team Champions, Chris Jericho and The Big Show, versus the Undertaker for the World Heavyweight Championship.
What do you guys think of all this?
