Jay Glazer Reports that Jets Officials say the Leon Injury was SEVERE

More updates on Leon Washington.  Jay Glazer reports that Doctors had to put a steel rod in his ankle to stabilize it.  He states that Jets Officials say it was a “SEVERE” Injury and are hopeful he can come back next season at full strength but they are taking a wait and see approach.

It looks like that Leon will be heading back to New Jersey on Wednesday and Woody Johnson, Jets owner, is flying him home on his private Jet.

Fans are still continuing to show their support online. Leon will be missed but the team is already thinking of how they will replace him.  Rex stated today that it will take multiple people to replace the dynamic Leon Washington.
