Where Does the WWE Go after Bragging Rights?
Bragging Rights, on a whole, for me, was an extremely predictable PPV.
John Cena wasn't going to leave Raw, Big Show obviously wasn't going to get a face turn while he was still Tag Team Champ with Y2J, and Batista's heel turn was evidently going to happen sooner or later.
But, anyways, this isn't about Bragging Rights. This is now about Survivor Series. Survivor Series is the third longest running PPV in WWE history, behind Wrestlemania and Royal Rumble, so let's jump in.
Bragging Rights Match No. 1: U.S. Champion The Miz vs. Intercontinental Champion John Morrsion
This one, I don't see going on for very long, just because the two of them are on separate brands. I don't really see the creative team wishing to continue this. Maybe if John Morrison is traded to Raw in the draft, but until then, I don't see it happening.
Bragging Rights Match No. 2: World Heavyweight Champion The Undertaker vs. Rey Mysterio vs. Batista vs. CM Punk
This match was interesting because, while still maintaining the viewer's interest, it sets the stage for much bigger and better things. I see this match splitting into two possible matches for Survivor Series. One is, obviously, Punk and Undertaker for the Heavyweight Title. But from there, where do they go? They've gone through Hell In a Cell, Submission matches, and a Fatal Four Way.
Where do they go, you ask? I have two words: Casket Match.
On the other hand, this sets up a legit Survivor Series match between Rey Mysterio and the newly heel-turned Batista. I see it this way: Rey Mysterio, John Morrison, Finlay, Matt Hardy, and R-Truth vs. Batista, Dolph Ziggler, Kane, and The Hart Dynasty.
Bragging Rights Match No. 3: Seven-on-Seven Tag Team Match
This one is obvious. It's going to be Degeneration-X and JeriShow, but the hard part is who will be part of the Survivor Series match here.
I see: Chris Jericho, Big Show, Chavo Guerrero, Jack Swagger, and Cody Rhodes vs. Shawn Michaels, Triple H, Kofi Kingston, Primo, and Montel Vontavious Porter (MVP)
Bragging Rights Match No. 4: John Cena vs Randy Orton in a 60-minute Iron Man Match for the WWE Championship
With this one, I'm actually not sure who will face Cena, but it's evident that DiBiase and Orton are going to feud. Perhaps the first match may occur sooner than thought.
