Manchester City Reportedly Furious Jorginho Deal Collapsed
Manchester City are "furious" with Napoli, as they believe Jorginho was "bullied" into joining Chelsea by the Serie A side, having seemingly agreed a £44 million deal with the Sky Blues earlier in July.
That's according to Stuart Brennan of the Manchester Evening News, who reported City are also angry with Jorginho's agent, Joao Santos, for not standing up to Napoli, who are said to have told him that if the player did not agree to join Chelsea, he "would be sitting in the stand for the remaining two years of his contract."
The Blues announced Jorginho's capture on Saturday, hours after confirming the appointment of former Napoli boss Maurizio Sarri as head coach.

Jack Gaughan of the Daily Mail supplied further details on City's displeasure:
City were in constant contact with Santos about his client, but they were unwilling to match Chelsea's £53 million offer, owing to their new policy of refusing to go beyond their valuation of a transfer target, even if it means missing out.
Jorginho's signing is quite the coup for Chelsea, as he appeared tailor-made for City's midfield under manager Pep Guardiola:
ESPN FC's Liam Twomey believes the Blues will enjoy City's fury at failing to secure the Italy international:
Under Sarri, Jorginho was perhaps the best passer of the ball in Serie A, and Chelsea will be hoping the 59-year-old can draw similarly commanding performances from the player in the Premier League.
As for City, it seems they will make do with their already stacked squad, as Brennan said they have no plans to target another midfielder in his place.
The Sky Blues do want to prepare a long-term replacement for Fernandinho, 33, but Guardiola will reportedly turn to one of Fabian Delph, Ilkay Gundogan or Danilo to take on that role.
