Ex-US Open Champ Lucas Glover's Wife Arrested for Alleged Attack on His Mother
Krista Glover, the wife of golfer Lucas Glover, was arrested Saturday night and faces misdemeanor domestic violence and resisting arrest charges after an alleged attack on her mother-in-law.
On Tuesday, the Associated Press reported the altercation occurred after Glover missed the 54-hole cut in last week's Players Championship in Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida.
The 2009 U.S. Open champion released a statement on Twitter:
A police report filed on the case stated Glover and his wife were engaged in a dispute when his mother became involved.
Krista Glover was released from St. John's County Jail on $2,500 bond Sunday. She's due back in court May 31.
Glover, 38, finished fifth in the 2009 PGA Championship after his U.S. Open triumph. He hasn't recorded a top-10 result in a major tournament since that season. He's winless in 16 starts during the 2017-18 campaign. His best finish was seventh in October's CIMB Classic.
