Meek Mill Says James Harden Would Call Him 3-4 Times a Week in Prison

Meek Mill got plenty of support from across the sports world while he was in prison, but James Harden apparently went the extra mile.

The rapper explained Monday on Sports Illustrated's Crossover TV that the Houston Rockets star would call him three-to-four times per week for about an hour each time:

When asked what they discussed, Meek Mill brought up a wide variety of topics.

"We talking pretty girls, we talking basketball," he explained. "We all over the place."  

Meek Mill spent nearly five months in prison for a probation violation before he was released in April. The Philadelphia native went to a 76ers game on his first night of freedom, but he now appears ready to cheer for Harden and the Rockets.
