Undisputed pundit Skip Bayless, who has spent much of his career taking potshots at LeBron James, tweeted Monday that he believes James has "the highest basketball IQ in the history of the game."

Skip Bayless @RealSkipBayless

I believe LeBron does have the highest basketball IQ in the history of the game, and that includes our friend Magic Johnson. But I was "impressed" by how much LeBron left out of his play-by-play. More @Undisputed, now on FS1 https://t.co/KnD1DqJ1M4

Of course, his compliment didn't come without a critique:

"LeBron is getting crazy runaway internet credit ... LeBron's photographic memory. Well, he didn't photograph what he did wrong in that sequence, right?" — @RealSkipBayless https://t.co/aDMeSOIcrj

Bayless was referencing James perfectly recounting a sequence from the beginning of the fourth quarter in Sunday's Game 1 loss to the Boston Celtics in the Eastern Conference finals, when the Celtics went on a 7-0 run.

How's that for a memory? 😮 #GameTime https://t.co/YpFLxw2K3A

The Cavaliers lost the game, 108-83. According to Bayless, the game was "an embarrassment" for James. According to everyone else, it was one loss in a seven-game series.
