Joel Embiid Walks Off Court Without Shaking Hands After Game 5 Loss vs. Celtics
Joel Embiid clearly wasn't happy with his first career playoff series loss.
After the Philadelphia 76ers' 114-112 Game 5 loss to the Boston Celtics on Wednesday, he immediately walked into the locker room without shaking hands with any Celtics players:
The rest of the 76ers players stayed on the court to shake hands after the 4-1 series loss.
Embiid had an up-and-down series, but he finished averaging 23 points and 14 rebounds per game.
Philadelphia vastly exceeded expectations this year with its young team, winning 52 games after finishing with only 28 victories last season and 10 the year before. After cruising past the Miami Heat in Round 1, the squad suddenly looked like a threat to win the East.
However, the surprise run ended in the second round, which Embiid likely won't get over quickly.
